Alexander Luke Burton (he/him) is a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania. Alex’s research focuses on conceptions of the climate crisis and societal collapse, and how these influence imaginaries of escape. Alex focuses on the Australian island-state of Tasmania, where he was raised.
