Dongyang Mi
Dongyang Mi is a human and environmental geographer, and a President's Doctoral Researcher at the University of Manchester. At the same time, he is a PhD Candidate in the joint-PhD programme under the GOLDEN (Global Doctoral Research Network) Partnerships through the Universities of Manchester and Melbourne. He is completing the PhD research project examining sustainable transitions of practices, infrastructures, and dynamic socio-material patterns of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation across Chinese cities. His main research interests lie at the intersection of Water Sanitation and Hygiene(WASH), sustainable practices and infrastructure, urban governance and transformation in Chinese and other Global South cities.
