Grant W Walton

Associate Professor Grant Walton draws on political geography and political science to research corruption, development, civil society and natural resources. Grant's work has been featured in the Journal of Development Studies; Asia Pacific Viewpoint; Crime, Law and Social Change; Public Administration and Development; and Society and Natural Resources. His book, Anti-corruption and its Discontents: Local, National and International Perspectives on Corruption in Papua New Guinea, was published through Routledge in 2018. He has conducted research in Papua New Guinea, Liberia, Australia and Afghanistan. Grant is currently at the Australian National University’s Development Policy Centre, which is situated in ‘sunny’ Canberra, Australia.
