Anna Carlson

Anna is a community organiser, illustrator, radio producer, and writer. She's a white settler currently based in Meanjin, a founding organiser of the Brisbane Free University and the Radio Reversal collective, and a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland. Anna's PhD project examined the relationship between colonial surveillance and liberal reform in Queensland, to understand how the crisis conditions of colonisation are repurposed as fuel for settler colonial nation-building.
