Leena Bakshi
Leena has worked with communities for the past thirty years in government and not for profit organisations in Australia and in her country of origin India in the areas of advocacy, policy development and training. She hold a master’s degree in Sociology from Bombay University. Her interest in community, diversity and the urban environment led her to study Landscape Architecture and now Urban Design. She recently completed a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) and a Master’s in Urban Design from the University of Western Australia. She is currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on the regional settlement of immigrants and refugees.
